Red Heart Nail Art

A couple weeks ago I was rooting through my stash looking for a red, a proper red. A pillar box red, if you will.

And to my shock and horror I didn't have one!! So the next day we were out shopping and my husband went off on his own to the bank, only when i saw him later he suprised me with THE perfect red! What a babe!

So today I have some lovely valentines day type nails (in oct) lol.

This is Max Factor Glossfinity Red Passion 110

The polish is pretty much opaque with two coats but you can still see my smile line on some nails. This is a tad less noticeable in real life.
Applies well although I did fine it a tad thin but the coverage isn't affected and I actually prefer a polish to be thinner as long as it builds up well.
I used a stamping plate by Cheeky to do this mani.

Zoya Love Heart Nail Art

I have lost my Zoya virginity and my my am I in love!
So much so that I have painted little hearts in acrylic paint! I have actually never don't free hand hearts before and this was relatively easy! The one thing I found hard was keeping them the same size.

(proud of these pics lol)

This is two coats of Zoya Coco, a super pretty red brown, its like a raspberry brown. Very hard to describe.
I find this type of colour really suits my skin tone and I really love them!

What do you think? Have you tried Zoya before?

Cupcake Nails

Messy hands...Naughty!

Ive never tried doing cupcake nails before but i have seen so many other good examples on other blogs, its time i gave it a go.

I used nine polishes for this design!!
Its hard to see in these photos but the cases are Matte and the frosting is shiny!

I used Barry M Mushroom and Kleancolor Mocha for the cases. Kleancolor Mocha is the stripes.

The blue frosting is Kleancolor Pastel Teal with Kleancolor Starry Blue glitter sprinkles.
The pink icing is Essie Flawless with Barry M Silver Cascade sprinkles

The cute little hearts are Kleancolor Twinkly Love

There is a base colour on this design by Kleancolor called Cream Pearl but you really cant see it unless you look really closely. I just didn't want the nails to be bare underneath as I'm not keen on this idea.

I used a very thin dotting tool to do all of this. And i picked out the glitter individually using the dotting tool too. I did try a brush but it didn't cover very well and looked streaky.

I also think that i should have made the cases smaller especially on my ring finger.

here is a close up of my little finger.

what do you all think?

Kleancolor Mocha With Cheeky Stamped Hearts

I know im using a lot of kleancolor polishes but i just bought a load and really want to try them all out :P

This is mocha 2 coats and i stamped a heart design using a Cheeky Plate and NYC White Polish (which i left open to go thicker for a few hours) topped off with lumos

I love nail stamping and believe me youll be seeing alot more stamping on this blog lol.

Cheeky Plates can be bought on Amazon for a fraction of the price of konad and they work so well. They have so many designs too.
