Butterfly Lace Nail Art

Today I have some nail art, Yay!

I have been using stamping quite a bit recently but I want to start getting back into hand painting nail art again.

I have been super busy with another project recently so I haven't had much time for my own nails. So here's an easy one for me today, ease me back in :)

This design actually started off being a tribal but I changed my mind lol!

This is OPI's Vant To Bite My Neck? and Sick Lacquers Butterfly Effect.
The glitter really sparkles against the dark purple.
The formula of Vant To Bite My Neck? is really good, pretty much a one coater. Its a dark plum purple. Love this shade, I think it will be used a lot this winter.

Butterfly effect has slices, circles ,diamonds and hex holographic glitter suspended in a clear base. It even has cute little butterflies in! I took a singular butterfly and place on my accent nail.
The white "lace" is acrylic paint. I find it covers darker colours better than using nail polish.

So what do you think? Are you ready to embraced the autumn/winter shades?

Daring Damask Nail Art

Here we have a very sexy nail art!
Without the sun shining on it, the pattern was actually quite subtle.
I expect to find this type of pattern on the wall of some boudoir lol!

Products used

China Glaze Purr Fect Plum
Konad Special Polish in Black
Cheeky Jumbo Plate European Romance
Seche Vite Top Coat.

I always forget I own this China Glaze beauty, but when I have it on I love it!

What do you think of this? Does it match your wallpaper LOL

Space Stamping

So while I have the Purr-fect Plum on I thought I would try out some of my newer Cheeky plates.
I haven't actually used stamping a lot recently as Ive been doing other things but i do love a good stamping :D
Here i have used a Space theme using Cheeky plate CH 46 from the summer 2012 collection. I purchased these on +Amazon.co.uk

I used Barry M Foil Effects in Silver for the stamping.

Purr-fect Plum

This is China Glaze's Purr-fect Plum. A dark berry type purple.
In the bottle it does look very dark and almost brownish..
the coverage is good and was completely opaque in two coats.
I got this from Sally's Express and i in fact ordered a few different shades as they were on sale for £1.28. But i only received this one as there was a big mix up and they didn't have any stock of the others that they had on offer. Then they were less than helpful in sorting it out. I wasn't even made aware that i wasn't getting the others and to be frank, they were down right rude on one occasion :(
Which is a shame really, you think an a big international brand would know how to handle things better.

anyway apart from my rant ;p this polish is very pretty but not my favourite purple I own.

Plum And Leopard Stamping

2x Coats Of Plum By Kleancolor. Bundle Monster stamping Plate 221 and NYC white to do the leopard print.

Please bare in mind that the NYC polish is very old and thick that's why it is so good for stamping, so don't chuck away your thick old nail polish! It'll come in very handy for stamping

As I've mentioned before, i love nail stamping and I love Bundle Monsters Plates. They work just as well as Konad but at lower cost.
I also used to use stamping alot when i was doing other peoples nails and it really is a crowd pleaser and people always comment on my nails when i have stamping on.

i prefer to just have stamping on the ring fingers on maybe the thumb too but this design would look just as lovely on all fingers.

Feature nails, as i call them, are very fashionable and if you look at celebrity nails you will find lots of people with just the ring finger "accessorised." Making this style suitable for both work and play as its not too "in your face"

This Kleancolor polish is very thin and didn't cover very well.Patchy and Streaky :( If using this colour again i would do 3 coats.

Ive been finding the Kleancolor with lumos bottom and base coat has not been lasting long at all on me. I think its my fault as i think i put the kleancolor on too thick. I have never had a problem of polish lasting on me when i use China Glaze and Lumos. China Glaze is a much better polish obviously, but it still doesn't really bother me as i don't tend to wear polish for more than a day :P
