My OH Does My Nails Tag.... Well My Brother Does My Nails

Ok so on the British Nail Bloggers facebook page this week a few of us are letting our other halfs loose on our nails!

Both my brother and husband wanted to give this a go so first up is my brother Aaron. They both have got quite excited over this. I am hoping they realise its not as easy as they think!

I actually think Aaron did a good job!
Not too messy and some cool stamping.

He seemed to get quite into it!
I better watch my back!

He even tried to do clean up bless him!
He used 2 different Moyou Stamping Plates and a Jade polish called Fascinio Violetta.

What do you think??

Please check out the other bloggers and what their OH have been up too!

Born To Be Wild!! Tattoo Inspired Nail Stamping

I am sorry Ive been quiet for a while.

Theres some things going on in my private life that have been taking up a lot of my brain space.
I hope to be back in the swing of things soon.

I have done a very quick mani today using plates from the Biker Collection by MoYou. The plates went missing in the post so MoYou resent not only the 4 I had ordered but the whole collection!!

I used OPI Tickle My France-y.
Three coats for the pics above.
I freaking love this shade and as you may well know I love a good nude (Behave!)
I just wish this one was thicker so it didn't need so many coats.
I love the way this polish makes my hands look, but I don't like all the coats :(

What do you think of this mani?
Whats your fave polish colour?

Floral Full Nail Water Decals

I bought a job lot of full nail water decals on EBay for the grand total of £3.99!
I had seen people using these on a few different You Tube Vids and i was really impressed with the results. Water Decals are also available as single images.

They remind me of the temporary tattoos i used to get out of bubble gum :)

They are actually really easy to use and only took me around 15 min to do one hand. The only problem i found was that the sizes were abit weird but its not hard to just re size them. The Decals are also thicker than i expected as i was worried they would break during application but no breakages!

To Apply;
Remove all packaging, Duh ;)
Size up decal to nail and trim if needed.
Submerge transfer in water
Life off of the paper, using tweezers helps
Place transfer on the nail and blot of excess water with kitchen roll (or something similar)
Apply Top coat

Handy little tip for application, i saw this on one you tube vid.....
Leave the edge of the wrap longer than required  (don't file off)
drag the top coat right to the end of the wrap
wait a couple seconds.....
the wrap will shrink backward and cap the free edge, for longer wear and a cleaner edge
some excess wrap that had shrunk back will need to be removed, i use a cocktail stick.

I think i will use these in the future ALOT as i have had them on for 2 days already and they haven't chipped or anything!
Application was also smooth and there were no creases so in that respect they gave a smoother finish than the nail wraps i have previously tried. Everything gets better with practise though!
Have a nailtastic weekend guys!
