Lightining Nail Art!

I have been super busy this week with a couple crochet orders I have to finish so here is a quick lightening themed nail art!
This was one of those late night faffings. My husband and brother were on Fifa so I thought Id have a mess around.
I used two polishes for this. BarryM Gelly in shades Guava and Grapefruit.

I love the Gelly range as they thicker. They are great for stamping and art although I do find the application can be a bit more tricky as it is that bit thicker.

I used the Bowie stamping plate from MoYou but i think that was like special edition or something so I am not sure if it is still available... But I do have another MoYou plate and that has bolts on it too.

I haven't used these polishes in so long and pretty much forgot I had them lol. After using these I then ordered the new shades and a few others from the range.... OOOOPPSS!

This is so funky and bright! And its been awhile since I have done any art at all.
The gradient nail didn't go completely to plan and I think it looks like more of a tie dye nail LOL

What do ya all think?

Blue Flower Nail Art

Today I have some pretty stickers from Sparkly Nails to show you.

I really wanted to use my new Girly Bits polish called Cosmic Ocean so I used it over this LAME gradient. It is so much more noticeable in real life but pastels are my enemy! I can never get them to show their true colours!

Cosmic Ocean is so sexy. It makes a huge difference to the polish and mani overall. It gives it a blue iridescent glittery shimmer that really makes it pop!

I used BarryM Gelly in Guava with Blueberry sponged onto the ends. If you squint you may be able to see it!!

The stickers are very easy to apply, they are the spongy type of stickers. After I have applied the stickers I just top them off with a top coat.
I think they go really well with the blues.

You can buy these stickers and other nail art bits HERE and you can check out Girly Bits HERE

Hope you are all having a good week so far!

*these stickers were sent to me for review. All opinions are my own HONEST thoughts and ramblings*

NOTD: Mysterious Lines

I love BarryM gelly polishes but i hardly ever use them. I find them a bit thick sometimes so I think that puts me off when I go to pick my colours.

I have wanted to use Sick Lacquers Mysterious Ways for ages and last week I wore it on a night out, but forgot to take photos DUH!
Everytime I use a new Sick Lacquers polish I always say to my other half  "this is my favorite one, you know."
I just love them all so much I can't actually decide which one I like best. The formula is always great, never too thick (my pet hate) and have great coverage in two coats.
I hand painted the lines using a very small brush that I have cut down some of the strands to make it even thinner.
For this funky line mani I used Sick Lacquers Mysterious Ways. BarryM Gelly in Guava and Grapefruit. All Pictured with 2 coats.

Whenever I photograph Guava its never bloody right. Its alot more of a teal in real life and you can really see the green hue. Its not this blue pictured here. *SIGH*

Mysterious Ways has a white base which is opaque in two coats. It features glitter in a vast array of sizes and colours.
You can find Sick LacquersHERE

What do you think of this bright mani?

Bright Leopard Print with Studs

Im Back!!!!
Have you missed me?
My laptop was poorly so it had to go to laptop hospital.
All is well again so here i am!

Today we have a very bright summer mani
I used BarryM Gelly in Guava and W7 in Its Pink!
I also used BarryM in Black for the print.
The W7 polish is the brightest colour I own and unfortunately I couldn't get the camera to capture the colour properly :( It is a lovely pink neon.
The studs are from the Born Pretty Store.

Zebra Print Nail Art

Here I have again used the mottling technique used in posts HERE and HERE
I think this is one of my most fave techniques as its so easy to do and cant be achieved on both hands easily.

I used BarryM's Blueberry Ice Cream as a base then used BarryM's Guava, OPI If You Moust, You Moust for the mottling and Accessorize Damselfly for the glitter.

I used a Bundle Monster Stamp for the zebra print but I also painted over it with black polish to make it stand out more.

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend!

Starry Night

I was sent a few packets of nail stickers From Nailtopia and I found it really hard to decide which ones to use as they are all soo pretty!

Today Ive chosen to use these stars. They are gold glitter and they have a really high glitter content.
They actually look like they are made from the glitter i also have on my nails, not like overly sticky out like stickers usually are.

Nailtopia sent these and i received them the next day! I love not having to wait for things.

I used the same technique I used for the Trees nail art HERE
The background is BarryM Blueberry Ice Cream with BarryM Cobalt Blue and BarryM Gelly in Guava.
The glitter is my all time fave Kleancolor 24 Carat. I use this glitter more than i use any other glitter, its beautiful!

To purchase these stickers and a wealth of other nail art supplies check out Nailtopia HERE

*These decals were sent to me for an HONEST review by Nailtopia. The views on this product are COMPLETELY my own.*

More Leopard Print!

Feeling really down in the dumps today and just wasn't in the mood really to do anything at all but I received a new nail art pen set today and I wanted to give it a go.
The base is OPI If You Moust You Moust and the dots are BarryM Gelly in Guava
I wanted a more rugged type of print but in the picture it just looks messy.
Basically my new pen is an actual dip fountain pen. It came with 5 interchangeable heads and 2 handles.
It was hard to get used to in the beginning but it seems to produce a nice thin line.
The pen uses acrylic paint that only works when it has been watered down to the consistency of double cream.

The only problem I had was that sometimes paint would flood my nail and ruin the whole design!
(this happened to a design I did after this one, which infuriated me even more ARRRGG)

I think I need a lot more practise with this and I am not sure its worth all the extra effort.

BarryM Gelly Guava Bubbles

This is a BarryM Gelly in Guava. A new addition to the Gelly family.
Unfortunately I the photograph doesn't show the colour as i had hoped.
Its a bit more turquoise in real life.

I was really disappointed with the consistency of this product. It was quite thick and hard to apply. But the colour is truly beautiful! I am not a fan of a thick polish, it reminds me of a cheap polish.
Its actually put me off using this polish again which is sad as its so beautiful.

The bubbles are done using OPI If You Moust You Moust and Barry M Nail Art Pen in White.
